Designation: Junior Consultant Anaesthesiology
Reporting to: Group Medical Officer
Qualification: MD, DNB Anaesthesiology, DA Anaesthesiology
Experience: 5 years experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Efficient in various anaesthetic techniques and procedures – MAC, Regional and general anaesthesia techniques, all kinds of vascular access (CVP, arterial line, Haemodialysis catheter), USG guided nerve blocks.
Should be able to handle emergencies in ICU and emergency wards
Key Result Areas:
To take part in forming and implementing department protocols
To support and co-ordinate with senior in the department Responsibility:
To develop the department overall and the subspecialties for the same
Actively contribute to the academic aspects concerning their departments
Guide and educate the paramedical staff in implementing the various protocols
To ensure safe patient care in the hospital
To ensure accurate, legible and detailed documentation of patient data, discussions and advice, in all the necessary records
To effectively implement the goals and objectives of the department
To Conducting classes for Clinical and Non-Clinical staffs in Basic Emergency
To effectively coordinate with colleagues of other clinical department for the smooth management of patients
To Conduct daily ICU rounds
To assist in regular clinical audit and to improve the clinical functions
To adhere to the code of medical ethics
To Formulate treatment plans
