Designation:  Front office executive (Senior)  
Reporting to: Manager Front office  
Qualifications & experience:  A bachelor degree in any field preferably in accounts  Minimum 2 year experience in similar field  
Knowledge & skills  Good communication skills.  Should have knowledge of handling personal computers.  Ability to direct patient in the earmarked places for procedures  Familiar with South Indian languages.  Ability to communicate with the patients effectively.  
Key Result area:  To provide accuracy billing against the doctor’s prescription.  To maintain billing as per the hospital rules  
Responsibility of Senior Front office staff executive:  Must possess the attitude to make the patient understand & explain the cost of procedure.  Explain the billing process to the patients and guide them for the procedures.  Maintain patient demographic information and data collection systems.  Ensure strict confidentiality of financial, discount, other records.  Kept records of over payments on customers' accounts.  Follow lists of special billing instructions, incorporating charges as delegated by HOD.  Prepare & generate duplicate bills as requested by the patient, if necessary.  Respond patient and others in person and by telephone to answer inquiries and complaints pertaining to bills, patient deposits, etc.,  Assist HOD in preparing documentation and other process related to patient care.  Ensure proper IP and OP billings.   Communicating with the patients in case of delays with the consultant due to emergencies.  Guiding the patient regarding appointment for their next visit.  Managing overall front office activities on absence of HOD.  Check the refund vouchers, credit card slip & denomination, while sending the amount to the accounts.  To have a proper follow up in monitoring CQI & Additional CQI.  Day to day follow up on Patient ID proof & Photo data. 
  
 Preparing CAPA for all CQI & maintain the file for NABH process.  Need to update the deaths in online portal & to have a proper record of death books & death certificates.  
Will supervise  Errors of registration and billings  Closing of all day to day IP bills  QIS of registration, billing errors, ID proof data and non captured photos  
Will participate in:  Attending Front office meeting.  Attending monthly CQI meetings.  Attending personality development classes.  Attending the conference related to Front office
