Experience: 3 – 4 years of experience

Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of Emergency, Poisoning & Trauma Care

 Ensure continuity in patient care

 Communication with patients

Responsibilities:

 Responsible for developing and implementing protocols and policies containing all activities of the

department.

 To develop the department overall and the subspecialties for the same

 Actively contribute to the academic aspects concerning their departments

 Guide and educate the paramedical staff in implementing the various protocols

 Conducting CME for the community doctors

 Periodically update knowledge in the respective specialists

 To ensure safe patient care in the hospital

 To ensure accurate, legible and detailed documentation of patient data, discussions and advice, in

all the necessary records

 To effectively implement the goals and objectives of the department

 To Conducting classes for Clinical and Non-Clinical staffs in Basic Emergency

 To effectively coordinate with colleagues of other clinical department for the smooth

management of patients

 To Conduct daily In-patient rounds

 To assist in regular clinical audit and to improve the clinical functions

 To adhere to the code of medical ethics

 To Formulate treatment plans

 Updating respective subspecialty

 Ensuring case file documentation

 Completing discharge summaries
