Social Media Executive Job Description: As a Social Media Executive at NU Hospitals, you will play a key role in enhancing the organisation’s online presence and engagement. Your responsibilities will include creating, managing, and analysing social media content across multiple platforms, conducting keyword and hashtag research, executing paid advertising campaigns, and optimising social media strategies based on data-driven insights.
You will also stay up-to-date with current trends to ensure NU Hospitals maintains a competitive edge in the digital landscape. Reporting to: Consultant Digital Marketing Qualification: Bachelor degree in any discipline. Key Result Areas:
Social Media Management:
o Create, schedule, and post engaging content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google My Business.
o Manage social media groups and participate in discussions to improve engagement.
o Handle postings on Quora, Reddit, and similar platforms to expand the hospital’s reach.
Content Creation and Strategy:
o Develop creative and informative posts, stories, videos, and reels aligned with NU Hospitals' goals.
o Research trending topics and hashtags to optimise content visibility.
o Plan and execute campaigns for events, services, and brand awareness.
o Curate content in Kannada and English languages
o Help in Kannada Translation of content
Paid Campaign Management:
o Manage ad spends on Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram) and WhatsApp ads.
o Set up, optimise, and track performance of paid campaigns to maximise ROI.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO):
o Conduct keyword research to enhance social media and website content.
o Utilise SEO tools to optimise content for better search engine rankings.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO efforts with social media strategies.
Competitor Analysis and Insights:
o Monitor and analyse competitor social media activities.
o Provide insights to improve NU Hospitals’ social media strategies.
Performance Tracking and Analytics:
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.) to measure campaign performance and engagement metrics.
o Prepare weekly and monthly reports to track growth and engagement.
o Develop dashboards to visualise key performance indicators (KPIs) and social media metrics.
Trend Research and Implementation:
o Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and algorithms.
o Incorporate trending formats, challenges, and content styles into NU Hospitals’ strategy.
Collaboration and Communication:
o Work with the marketing, CRM, and clinical teams to align social media efforts with business objectives.
o Coordinate with writers, designers, videographers, and other team members for content creation.
Community Engagement:
o Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly.
o Build relationships with influencers and brand advocates to promote NU Hospitals.
Knowledge & Skills:
Social Media Expertise: Proficient in managing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Quora, Reddit, and Google My Business.
SEO Knowledge: Hands-on experience with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms for keyword and content optimisation.
Analytics Tools: Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and social media insights dashboards.
Ad Campaigns: Experience in planning and managing paid ad campaigns on social media.
